Kaala (2018 film)
Kaala (transl. Black)[c] is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Dhanush under his production house Wunder bar Films. The film stars Rajinikanth in the titular role alongside Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani, Eswari Rao, and Huma Qureshi who appear in supporting roles.

Audition
My kaala audition experience was both nerve-wracking and exciting. I had always been passionate about performing and had taken part in school plays, but this was my first time auditioning for a professional production
Preparation
Before stepping into the shoes of a character I started to understand the character's motivations and the character's relationship with the lead role kaala ( Rajinikanth ) and started working towards it such as Building the Physicality, Rehearsals, voice and speech training for dubbings
Character
My Character "Athiyan" is the eldest grandson of karikaalan (Rajinikanth). Athiyan's relationship with his family and his siblings plays a significant role in shaping their character for the film.
Learning
As an actor, I discovered the power of emotional vulnerability by observing experienced artist Samuthirakani for example has allowed me to connect with my character and his struggles
